If the Daily Profit won't print it, it's probably true

Basic Info
Name:The Free Spirit Newspaper
Location:London, Notting Hill, United Kingdom
Bio
Free Spirit Press was set up in the early 1970's by Junius Palladium, a fiercely working class liberal. Operating from a small bedsit in Notting Hill, with later expansions to a small office in Diagon Alley.

With a staff recruited by those appalled by the Daily Profit Prophet's right-wing stance, and those too unprofessional to gain work at the larger paper, the Free Spirit is derided as being riddled with hardcore Communists and fluffy-hearted liberals. To be quite frank, this is probably true, but it provides a useful counterbalance to the general output of the Prophet.

Staff:

Editor and Political Correspondent: Junius Palladium
"Buggerit, mate, didn't see you there. Tess? Tess? Go grab the man a coffee. Now, what can I do for you? Is it about the article on the Russians? 'Cos I can assure you that Bambi was perfectly right in... no? The Death Eaters? That'll be Home Affairs. Down the stairs, through the kitchen. I've got an article to be laid out by 4, don't let me keep you."

Home Affairs: Christina Weatherfair
"Death Eaters? If you want our policy on that, they're probably misunderstood but we can't be sure, and we condemn their methods. At any rate, it's all the fault of the Right for cutting back on the education budget, and society as a whole. If you want to blame it on the Yanks, that's fine by me, but Bambi knows more. He'll be out the back having a fag."

Foreign Affairs: Rick "Bambi" McCloud
"Is it about the Russians? They're perfectly justified in occupying Bratislaw. Look, if you have a problem with it, take it up with the Ministry. I'm just here to report the truth, ok?"

Features and layout: Billy Finnegan
"Soddit? Where's the bloody glue? Tess? Can you grab me some coffee if you're going out? And some fags? Thanks! I'll pay you back!"

Since the attack on the Free Spirit, which resulted in the death of the office assistant Tess Giordano, the Press has been operating from a broom cupboard in the Magical Fabian Society. Bambi works from home, and Billy has left, leaving no address to contact him. A replacementg is being sought, though due to the lack of a good printing press, the Free Spirit is currently operating on twenty self-circulating copies until the Auror investigation is over.
